と聞くと「そんなバカな！最近の若者は飲み会嫌いで、プライベート重視でしょう」と反発したくなるだろう。筆者もデータを見た時は「本当？」と思ってしまった。だが、これはデータを見る限り、現実に起きていることだ。
忘年会に参加意欲があるのは全体で60.1%であった。年代別の参加意欲は以下の通りである。
20代：71.0%
30代：57.8%
40代：55.1%
50代：48.3%
「忘年会は上司の説教の場」と敬遠されがちだった20代が、最も積極的に参加を望んでいるという事実は、従来の常識を根底から覆す。
一体何が理由なのか？ 考察したい。
