その日の22時ごろ、亀梨の姿は公私ともに仲が良い、巨人の坂本勇人（35）とともに東京都港区の高級ラウンジ店「X」にあった。その場に居合わせた女性従業員のAさんが明かす。
「すでにどこかで飲んでいたのか少し顔を赤らめた亀梨さんが、坂本さんと一緒に『X』に入店してきました。亀梨さんは『X』の常連で、私も何度も店でお見かけしたことがあります。いつも店の奥にあるスイートルームに陣取り、2～10万円ほどのワインやシャンパンを頼み、2時間ほど女の子と飲んで帰っていく。20万円を越すヴィンテージワインを飲んだ日もありました。大抵、誰かと一緒に来ますが、たまに一人で来店することもありますね」
「いつもお酒が進むと従業員に対して横柄な態度をとるんです。その日も、来店からしばらくすると、席についた女性キャストにキスを迫りはじめて……。男性スタッフから『そういった行為はおやめください』と何度か注意されていました」
しかし、亀梨は態度を改めなかったという。
「その後も、席についた女性キャストにキスを迫り続けていました。みんな場の空気を壊さないようにやんわり断っていたのですが、だんだん亀梨さんの機嫌が悪くなってきて。3人目についた女性キャストがなおキスを求めてくる亀梨さんを拒否したところ、いきなり『なんで俺とキスできないの？』と怒鳴って、自分のスマホを投げつけたんです。正直、現場は凍り付きました。スマホを投げつけられた女性も今にも泣きだしそうになってたし。みかねた坂本さんが亀梨さんを促すように連れて帰ったので、その日はそれ以上のトラブルにはなりませんでしたが……」（同前）
