張本勲氏

　野球評論家の張本勲氏（８１）が８日、ＴＢＳ系「サンデーモーニング」にリモートで生出演。
７日、東京五輪・野球日本代表が、決勝で２―０でアメリカに勝利し、金メダルを獲得したことについてコメントした。

　日本代表について、張本氏は「強くなりましたね。アメリカ野球に追いつくかなと思ってたんですが、今はアメリカ野球の上になりましたね」と称賛。

　さらに「初戦、アメリカの野球チームを見た時に、僕はびっくりしたんですよ。どっちがアメリカのチームなのかと思うくらい」
「今は平均的に、日本の選手も大きい」と分析した。

　続けて「アメリカ野球のバッティングはほとんど進歩していない」「日本の野球の方が、今は上へ行ってるんじゃないかと思います」と述べた。
