白と黒色のしま模様で体長約１・５メートルのヘビが８日、
兵庫県高砂市松陽１の民家で見つかった。
通報を受けた高砂署員が捕獲。毒はないといい、
同署は近隣住民のペットだった可能性も視野に、
一時的に保護している。

姫路市立動物園（同市本町）によると、
北米原産の外来種「カリフォルニアキングスネーク」とみられる。
