ブリヂストン、従業員8千人を転籍へ　防振ゴム事業は中国企業に売却

タイヤ国内最大手のブリヂストンが大規模な事業再編を進めている。
来年夏までに防振ゴム事業を中国企業に、自動車部品などの化成品ソリューション事業を投資ファンドに売却する。
国内外で22カ所の事業所を譲渡し、従業員約8千人に転籍を求める。国内では11カ所、3千人弱が移る。
国内全体の従業員の1割弱、拠点の2割強にあたる異例の規模だ。

収益力が低い事業を切り離し、本業のタイヤ事業などに資源を集中する。
世界的メーカーとして知られる大企業も、競争が激しくなるなか、経営の効率化を急いでいることを示す。

自動車エンジン向けなどに使われる防振ゴム事業は、中国・安徽省の企業に来年7月に売る。
自動車のシートパッドなどをつくる化成品ソリューション事業は投資ファンドの「エンデバー・ユナイテッド」（東京）に来年8月に売る。

2事業の従業員は7886人でグループ全体（約14万人）の6%弱にあたる。うち国内は2773人だ。
従業員は売却先の企業に転籍し働き続けてもらう方針で、ブリヂストンは「従業員と丁寧にコミュニケーションしていく」としている。
