（ＣＮＮ） 中国南部・海南島のリゾート、アトランティス三亜にある水族館「アンバサダー・ラグーン」。ここでは普段、２８０種を超える約８万６０００匹の海洋生物が暮らしている。

しかし４月２８日、この巨大水族館に１００人の「人魚」が集まり、鮮やかな色の尾を揺らしながら、一糸乱れぬ動きで水中を泳ぎ回った。
目的は「世界最大の水中人魚ショー」のギネス記録を更新すること。同ホテルとリゾートの３周年を記念する祝賀行事の一環だった。
