性別でみると「0冊」に男女の差はほとんどなかった。
年代別の分析ではいずれの年代でも男女問わず「0冊」が最多となるなど、年代や地域によらず本を読まない人の割合はまんべんなく高かった。

　こうした結果を裏付けるように、読書量についての質問で「以前に比べて減っている」と回答したのは69・1％で、前回（67・3％）から1・8ポイント増えた。

速読術とか買ってるやつなんて最初から本読もうと思ってない。早く読めたらスマートかなとか思ってるだけ
