岡藤正広・会長最高経営責任者（CEO）の名前による年収見直しに関する社内文書がX（旧ツイッター）に流出した。伊藤忠の広報担当者は「内容は事実」としつつ「現在労働組合と交渉中だが、交渉終了時期は不透明」とコメントした。
年収の引き上げは自社株式による株式報奨を拡大し、基本給を底上げするベースアップ（ベア）も組み合わせた制度に改定して実施する。実力のある社員には変動給でも一段と報いる。課長代行は25年度（成績最優秀の場合）で2970万円と、現行制度による24年度の年収見込み2550万円から増える。課長で3620万円（24年度見込みで3090万円）、部長で4110万円（同3500万円）となる。
有価証券報告書によると、23年度の平均年間給与は三菱商事が2090万円で総合商社でトップ。2位は三井物産（1899万円）で、住友商事（1758万円）、伊藤忠（1753万円）が続く。総合商社は学生に人気業種だが、コンサルティング業界などとの人材争奪が激しい。伊藤忠は買収などを通じて、24年度に連結純利益で3期ぶりの最高益を見込んでいる。

これだけだと中抜き野郎なんだが、何十億という仕入れを一企業が行うのはリスクあるというか無理だが、じゃあかと言って100万円分欲しいなんて産出国に行ったところでハナで笑われて相手にされない。というかそんなチンケな量だと輸送費とか込みで考えるとバカ高くなって割に合わない。なんで結果的に商社から買った方が安いのよ。
しかもその小麦が実は病気の小麦で何万トン買ったあとに廃棄しなきゃなたなくなるみたいなパターンもあるわけで商社がそのリスクを肩代わりしてくれてるという面もある。
もっと規模が大きくなると世界的な食糧不足が予見される時にいち早くそれを大量に買い付けて備蓄するとか国政にも関わるような事をやってる。
