デジタル化､いい作業環境が作品性を劣化させる

でも今は、税務署から小ばかにされることもない。そんな実感からいうと、今の業界の社会的地位向上は、とてもありがたいこと。
アニメの産業が隆盛期なのは確かだろう。しかし、今後もこの状況が続くかどうかは、わからない。あともう5～6年は盛り上がりが続くかもしれないけれど、そこまでで、衰微していくでしょう。
小説でも映画でも同じことだが、時代の波に伴って必ず生じる盛衰というものがある。作品は、心を持つ人間が楽しむものだから、世の中の環境が変われば、文化の様相も変わってきて、人の心性も変わっていく。だから、今が頂点となったら、これから先はどん詰まり。
アニメ自体は、なくならない。ただ、今以上に優れた作品が出てくるかというと難しいと思える。手描きのアニメからデジタルに切り替わった後のディズニーの作品は、「え？」と落胆するようなものばかりになったが、そういう再生産になっていくから。
宮崎駿監督アニメのような作品が、古典的な作品として、今後も見られ続けていくと思う。
「ガンダム」シリーズも歴史に残るのではないかって？ うぬぼれるつもりはないが、1行ぐらいは記されるかもしれない。
でも実をいうと、「ガンダム」という作品にぼくが込めた、社会論とか戦争論といった根幹的なメッセージは、ガンダムという巨大ロボットの造形に邪魔をされ、思うように伝わっていないように感じる。子どもは恐竜が好き、巨大ロボットも好き。その嗜好性の延長に「ガンダム」の人気がある。不本意なことに、視野の狭いメカフェチに支えられてきた部分がある。作品単体でみたら『ちびまる子ちゃん』『ワンピース』の人気にはかないませんね。

実際ワンピもすごいと思ってるだろうけど半世紀以上語られる作品まではならんとおもってそうよね
