名古屋市の河村たかし市長が市議会に提出した、議員報酬を年間８００万円に減額する条例案が賛成少数で否決されました。
河村市長は４月の市長選で掲げた公約に従って、６月議会に市議報酬を８００万円に減額する条例案を提出。
一方、自民など３会派は、「適正な報酬額は第三者機関の審議会に諮問して決めるべき」と反対し、
６日開かれた本会議で条例案は、市長が代表を務める地域政党「減税日本」の議員ら賛成少数で否決されました。
「とんでもない話で、議員の利害と庶民のコロナの苦しみとまったく乖離している」（河村市長）
河村市長は「今後の対応については改めて考える」と話しています。
