バイデン氏はまた、「中国は（ウクライナに侵攻した）ロシアを全面支援すると誰もが考えたが、そうなっていない」と指摘。
中国は欧米諸国との経済関係に配慮し、ロシアと一定の距離を置いているとの見方を示した。
