小室圭さん金銭問題の説明文書公表

この文書は、私や母と元婚約者の方との間にこれまであったやり取り等について実際の経緯をある程度明らかにすることを通じて、
これまで世の中に出回ってきた金銭トラブルと言われている事柄に関する誤った情報をできる範囲で訂正することを目的としています［注1］。
詳しくは後出の「6」で説明しますが、母は母の代理人である上芝弁護士を通じて令和元年（2019年）5月から昨年
（令和2年、2020年）11月まで、元婚約者の方との話し合いを続けてきました。
一部の例外を除いて［注2］金銭トラブルと言われている事柄に対する私や母の認識を公にすることを避けてきた理由は、
元婚約者の方のプライバシーを必要以上に晒すことになる可能性もあると考えたためです。
元婚約者の方は縁のある方で一時期私と母に支援をしてくださった方（詳しくは「5」（1）（2）で説明します）ですし、当時は有り難い思いで支援を受けていましたが、
今となって振り返ってみれば、元婚約者の方の善意に頼りすぎてしまった、というのが客観的に見た当時の状況だと思います。

その直後に、入学金と授業料についてはご自身の勘違いであったという回答があったうえで、もはや金銭の請求はしないし、
そのための話し合いは不要なのでやめたいとの連絡があったため話し合いがそれ以上進まなかった（「6」（7）以降を参照してください）というのが実際の経緯です［注36］。
