長野市は、長野県外から市に移住してきた人に対して賃貸住宅の家賃を補助する制度を始めた。月額2万円を上限に、最大で2年間補助金を交付する。
転職を伴う移住を希望している若者や、子育て中の家庭を呼び込むことで、地域の活性化につなげる狙いだ。2022年4月から25年3月までに転入した人に交付する。

対象は40歳未満の人、中学生以下の子どもを育てている人、テレワークで働く人の3種類。おおむね3年以上定住する意思を持つことが条件となり、
転勤や入学、医療施設への入所などによる一時的な居住は対象外になる。都心部の企業で働きながら地方に定住したいと考える人からのニーズを想定して、
テレワークに取り組む人も対象とした。
