自転車同士が正面衝突　ヘルメット着用していなかった男性死亡、着用していた事故相手は生き残る [609257736]

京都府京田辺市のサイクリングロードで自転車同士が正面衝突する事故があり、62歳の男性が死亡しました。

9日午後1時20分ごろ、京田辺市田辺田出原の「木津川サイクリングロード」でロードバイクが正面衝突する事故がありました。

この事故により、奈良市の62歳男性が頭を強く打ち、病院に運ばれましたが死亡しました。

別の自転車に乗っていた44歳の女性は肩や後頭部を打ちましたが、命に別状はないということです。

現場は、坂道のカーブになっていて、事故当時、女性はヘルメットを着用していましたが、男性はヘルメットを着けていなかったということです。

4月に施行された改正道交法により、年齢を問わず、自転車に乗るすべての人にヘルメットの着用が努力義務化されていました。

この改正以後、ヘルメットを着用していない自転車の運転手が亡くなる事故は、京都府内では初めてです。
