【ロンドン時事】クレバリー英外相は12日、ロンドンで政府の長期的な外交方針を示す基調演説を行った。
この中で、国連改革の必要性に触れ、安全保障理事会常任理事国を拡大し、日本を加えることを支持すると表明した。
ロシアのウクライナ侵攻などを巡って機能不全が指摘される安保理に関し、外相は「（現状の）全てが完全だとは信じていない。改革を妨げる意図もない」と改革推進を約束。その上で「ブラジル、インド、日本とドイツを、アフリカの代表と共に常任理事国として迎えるよう希望する」と述べた。
