航空自衛隊入間基地（埼玉県狭山市）は２０日、基地幹部食堂において、１食分に相当するパン２個を不正に取得したとして５０代の１等空尉を停職の懲戒処分にした。 同基地によると第４補給処所属の男性１等空尉は４月２６日、食堂で朝食を得る際に、米かパンかの選択にもかかわらず、米を取った後にパンも取ったとして、停職３日の懲戒処分となった。配膳係の指摘を受けた男性１等空尉が、自ら基地に申し出て発覚。パンは食べることなく、その場で返却した。男性１等空尉は「米を半分に減らしたため、パンを取っても問題ないと思った。認識不足だった」と話しているという。
