甘みや食べやすさを追求し、なんと33年もかけて日本で開発された品種。国内では、栽培面積も急拡大しています。
しかし、日本の店頭では1キロあたり1万2000円ほどで売られているシャインマスカットが、
中国のサイトではたったの約600円。破格となっています。
さらにシャインマスカットの中でも特に大粒で糖度も高いことで人気の『晴王』の文字も。
本来、『晴王』と名乗れるのは、岡山県産で商標権を持つJA全農などから許可を受けたものだけ。しかし、中国・北京の市場では…。
Q．この晴王はどこのブランド？

「晴王は雲南省だよ。雲南省から来たものは晴王と呼ぶ」
Q．日本の岡山産だけが晴王では？

「それはわからない。ここで商売して5、6年だけど、そんな話は聞いたことがない」
