共産が創立99年 志位氏「党名変更は誤り犯したとき」
共産党が創立してから15日で99年を迎えた。志位和夫委員長は同日の会見で「99年間党名を変えずに活動したのは共産党だけ。私たちが日本国民との関係で大きな誤りをせず、国民の利益、平和、人権、民主主義に即した活動を行ってきた結果だ」と誇った。
共産党は1922年、非合法下で創立した。戦前には弾圧を受けた歴史があることを念頭に、志位氏は「政党が名前を変えるのは、国民に顔向けできない誤りを犯したときだ。戦前、全ての党が侵略戦争に加担したので、戦後出発するときに同じ名前で出てこられなかった」とした。
志位氏は「99年の歴史の全てが正しかったというつもりはない」としながらも、戦後もソ連、中国の「干渉」を拒否した結果、党名を維持することができたなどと党史を誇った。
