　試合後、予言的中だと言われたビッグボスは「当たったでしょ？」と満足げ。「そうなんですよ。フリーバッティングがいいバットの出方、角度というか」と根拠を口にし、「僕の勘ピューターが当たったので良かったんじゃないかと思います」とうなずいた。

　ただ、守り勝つ野球を掲げているビッグボスは、今季最多の１２得点にも無関心。「こういう試合はあまり好きじゃない。成長しないというか。２、３点差のゲームで緊張感を持ってやるほうがおれは好き」と、冷静に振り返っていた。
