1(三)グリグリ眼鏡をかけていたので悪球（コンタクトも可）

二年春のセンバツ決勝、土佐丸高校戦で初出
かつての恩人お鶴の出現に奮起し、自力で悪球を作り出すべく通路の学生から度の強い眼鏡を奪い取った岩鬼
結果、犬飼武蔵のど真ん中ストレートを見事外野に弾き返した

後に弟の犬飼知三郎に対してフェイントでグリグリ眼鏡を使用
眼鏡を投げ捨てた後に実はコンタクトをつけていたためど真ん中をツーベースにした

その後もプロ野球編でコンタクトを度々使用していた

投手はオリックスの投げるイラストレーターこと木田優夫
歯がついていないアップ用のシューズを打席で使用したため、踏み込んだ際にズッコケてホームランになった
