未婚の若年層は「女余り」状態

若年層では、2000年代以降、結婚したい人口は男女逆転し、いわゆる「女余り」状態になっています。
単純な未婚人口比較では300万人以上も男が余っているのに、婚活の現場では女余りになってしまうことの表れでもあります。

34歳までの年齢は、男女とも婚姻数が最も多い年齢層であり、そのボリュームゾーンでは「結婚したい女性が結婚できない」現象が起きています。
一方で、中年層では、圧倒的に「男余り」状態です。
