政府内で相次ぐ法案のミスなどを受け、「一太郎」禁止令が出された。
中央省庁では、ワープロソフトとして「ワード」を使うのが主流となっているが、一部では、国産の「一太郎」が使われている。
ただ、互換性の問題から、相次ぐ法案の条文ミスの理由とされたり、民間企業とのやり取りで不便が生じ、
政府内で「一太郎」の使用を問題視する声が上がっている。
こうした中、農水省が省内で「ワード使用を原則化」する通知を出したことがわかった。
通知では、「対外的にやむを得ない場合を除き、『ワード』使用を徹底」するよう書かれ、事実上の「一太郎」使用禁止令となっている。

オフィスソフトなんてリブレオフィスとかオープンソースの無料ので統一したほうがいいのにね。
