中国は「害虫が検出された」として3月1日から台湾産パイナップルの輸入を突然停止し、台湾側は中国の「不当な圧力」と訴えている。
そうした中、台湾で1日に放送された政論番組に出演した台湾のパイナップル農家が、「日本向けに販売するものは厳選されたもの。
（中国）大陸へはパイナップルに見えればそれでいい。今日ダイコンを食べたけど、それをパイナップルの姿に変えたとしても、彼らはきっと買うよ」などと発言したと、
中国紙・環球時報の公式ウェイボーが4日付で伝えた。
これについて、中国のネットユーザーからは、「腹立つ」「ここまでゲスいの初めてみた」「（台湾人の）悪いくせは、（中国が）甘やかしたせい」
「恵台政策の結果がこれ」「升米恩斗米仇（恩が仇となる）」などと不快感を示す声が多く寄せられた。（翻訳・編集/柳川）
