栃木県によりますと、今月21日に足利市西宮町で発生した山火事は3日がたった24
日も延焼中で、自衛隊のヘリコプターによる上空からの消火活動は日没で終了しまし
たが、消防による地上からの消火活動は日没後も続けられています。

足利市によりますと、24日午後5時半の時点で、およそ76.5ヘクタールの山林が焼け、
さらに燃え広がっているということです。

足利市は住宅地への延焼のおそれがあるとして、これまでに市内の合わせて177世帯
に避難勧告を出しました。

また市内の3か所に避難所を設けていて、24日午後7時の時点で合わせて21世帯37人
が避難しているということです。

市によりますと、火事によるけが人はなく、建物などへの延焼も確認されていないと
いうことですが、今のところ鎮火の見通しは立っていないということです。
