【デスマッチ】岩手で『わんこ餅』全国大会が開催

熱戦、苦戦、 わんこもち　全国大会、一関の男性80杯で連覇
　一関地方の餅文化をユニークに発信する第１３回全国わんこもち大会（実行委主催）は２日、一関市大町のなのはなプラザで開かれた。県内外の大食い自慢が熱戦を繰り広げ、男性個人戦は同市花泉町の会社員岩渕恭史さん（３５）が８０杯で２連覇を果たした。

　団体戦（２人一組）９チーム、男性個人戦１０人、女性個人戦４人が出場。５分間の制限時間内にあんこ、ずんだ、しょうゆで味付けされた一口大の餅をいくつ食べられるか競った。参加者は会場の声援を受けながら、懸命に餅を食べた。
