マイクロソフトは、「Build 2019」において、次期Micrsoft Edgeに「Internet Explorer mode」搭載することを発表した。
マイクロソフトは昨年12月に、WebブラウザであるMicrosoft Edgeのレンダリングエンジンをそれまで自社開発していたものからオープンソースで開発されているChromiumをベースにしたものへ切り替えると発表していました。
今回の発表は、その次期Microsoft Edgeの新機能の1つとして明らかにされたものです。
