Microsoft、4月からWindows 7にWindows 10への移行を促す通知を表示へ

Microsoftが2019年4月以降、Windows 7にWindows 10への移行を促す通知を表示すると発表した。

Microsoftは3月12日のWindows Blogにて、2019年4月以降、Windows 7が動作するPCにWindows 10への移行を促す通知を表示すると公表した。これは、2020年1月14日に延長サポートが終了するWindows 7からの脱却を促す施策の一環で、通知は年数回表示されるが、設定で再表示しないようにすることもできるという。

また、同社では2020年10月13日にサポートが終わるOffice 2010からOffice 365への移行も推奨している。
